This is just one of the many reactions to Adam Kerr's music and style. For 10years now Adam has been blazing his own trail whether it be with a great underground metal band like Kalibos(1992-1995), his studio work, his performances playing with great artists from all over the northeast or his work with his other project NJ/NY based Hard Rock band GUITBOX, Adam has brought back what it means to be a great musician. His music brings an energy, power and feeling that is painfully lacking in todays music.
Adam started his music career back in 1992 forming an amazing talented metal band Kalibos. This band was like nothing anyone had heard before. Unfortunately the climate of the music scene at that time towards anything other than grunge or new punk pretty much left them relegated to great reviews from critics and a loyal underground fan base.
After Kalibos Adam concentrated on solo material, studio work and play for pay for other artists and events. In 1998 he formed Guitbox. After a rough start the band got its footing into the NY/NJ area rock scene in 1999 and has stayed there ever since building a loyal fan base throughout the northeast from Boston down to D.C. This band is poised to oneday become legends in the music business as will the solo work of Adam Kerr.
This year is about Adam Kerr and this amazing debut cd. Ready for release by the fall the tracks already previewed for many of us are like nothing out there today. The energy alone is enough to make you run out and buy this cd. Adam's ability to blend catchy hard rock music with perfect melodies and lead guitar work like noone out there today will push him to the forefront of the Rock world.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes I love to play out live but right now I am looking for the right people to be a part of this. The kind of musicians who are not only talented but dedicated to making music their life.
