Across The Way
"A Cross The Way" is the name I use for posting my music on the internet. I have been involved with music for quite a long time starting with playing in bands when I was a teenager, as most people probably do. I started writing songs at that time, and have been at it ever since. Quite a few other members of my family are or were also in the music business. My brother is a studio bass player. He is under contract with NBC, & HBO to write and record music for television shows, and he plays with Johnny Winter, on a regular basis. My sister-in-law's first professional singing job was as a back up singer for Micheal Boltin. My parents both used to regularly win talent contests while singing together quite a few years ago, and I have numerous cousins who also are, or were in local bands. My daughter Dawn, recently worked with "Gargantua Soul", an east coast band that is currently on the verge of going national.
All of my life I have wanted to record the songs that I have written, but only within the last ten years, with the advance of computers, software and midi recording, has it been financially possible and sonically pleasureable to do as much as I have been able to do, without it costing an arm and a leg.
