Acoustic 101
Acoustic 101 is an acoustic trio from Hendersonville, Tennessee. We play mostly original music. We consist of Sharon Perez on guitar and vocals, Andy Perez on Guitar & bass & vocals, and Mark Kolstad on guitar. We are currently recording our first, full-length, all original CD.
We have recently relocated to Glendale, Arizona.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Sharon came from West Virginia where she led a bluegrass band called Gypsy Moon Band. Andy came from California where he played bass and guitar in several Bay Area cover bands as well as writing original songs with Mark. We have moved from the Big Island of Hawaii to Nashville. Now we are on our way to Phoenix, Arizona. Woo hoo! What a ride!!!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes. We did our first gig together in March 2005 at the Keahou Resort in Hawaii. We have since moved to Nashville, Tennessee and are currently recording a full-length, all original CD.
