I do free improv and compose using various computer software going where the idea takes me with no specific genre in mind About the Music This original music was recorded in my home studio on a Kawai grand piano or my two keyboards, The music evolves from the first notes I play on the piano. Born and raised in Northwest Indiana, Gerry Magallan performed as a trumpet player, guitar player, and singer for a variety of bands in the Gary and East Chicago Indiana area throughout the 70's. Gerry earned a master's degree in music from Illinois State U. and then pursued a career in IT for 30 years while raising a family in Arizona. Gerry is now returning to performing and composing music while enjoying retirement.
