This 22 year old male is from Hot Springs, Ark. Although, in a very small town, he brings big acceptance to himself globaly. Fans ranging from Germany, to Brazil, Japan and Canada, slowly but surely he makes himself a known name in the undergound electronic/goth scene. "ACKODs ultra minimalist electro industrial is gothy
and utterly moody.
One can just envision the grim
furrowed brow of the vocalist as he Teutonically
shares his bleak visions in electrosong with the
world. Blending dark, spartan electronic structures
driven by utilitarian goa-industrial beats (think
the minimal quality of Latex Empire),
gothic melody and ultra-serious vocals,
ACKOD comes off with a sound
that sounds like Germanic or Scandinavian
electro-industrial, only stripped down to teflon
leanness. While the music is minimalist, it does
conjure a healthy dark atmosphere and I cant say
that Ive heard just a ton of industrial bands taking
this approach. Its almost as if they deliberately
eschewed the uberthick distortion of Decoded Feedback,
Frontline Assembly, Haujobb or someone like that,
opting instead for spacious but hard as steel

Tastes Like Cherries on one of my playlists- could fit into a cw soundtrack for 'Nikita' or something- at least the 'G' rated version.
