Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Born Michael Angelo Vittelli in Sacramento, California, Ace Mack Daddy has created music all his life. In 1995 Ace started getting serious with his talent and began recording songs on the underground scene.
His chances to sign with a label were sidetracked by run ins with the law resulting with stints in jail. His chances to perform or organize shows were also side lined making it hard to move his music to the masses.
10 years and more than 100 tracks later with all his legal matters taken care of Ace is ready to blow up. His Internet label 9mmRecords is getting down to business bringing you an unsigned jewel.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Na, I got locked up every time i planned something.I'd Rock the dorm at county but that's it, oh yeah i did a show at the county fair. my crew got high as fuck off sherm and cisco and got us thrown out by the police. I went to jail that time too. But i'm Ready to tear a fuckin stage in a big way now!
Your musical influences
This is gunna sound crazy, but fuck it if anybody thinks negatively about it..... I was told that Dave Mason, Jackson Brown, and Van Morrison were big in my toddler years. Then there was Guns N Roses, then 2 Live Crew, Too Short. I can remember when I got my first Eazy E record... tape actually... it was the vent I was lookin for all them years - no shittin you for years. Blew Too Short and 2 Live away.
