Biography

Born and raised in South Philadelphia, ACE KASSIM is a passionate artist emerging into the hip hop industry with a force not to be reckoned with. He is inspired by lifes trials, tribulations, and things that are affecting our society. Ace is not looking for the lime light, nor does he want to be the front man. He just wants to be heard
He loves music in general, but has a deeper appreciation for hip hop. Ace does not want to tarnish the art form of music by replicating someone elses work everything he does is original.
ACE KASSIM, affiliated with Grind Hard Music and Deuce 1 Fifth Entertainment, arrived in the underground scene during Phillys hip hop baby boom in 2001. With artists such as Chris & Neef and Phillys Most Wanted representing Phillys underground to the masses, ACE KASSIMs street conscious lyrics and straight 808 trunk knocking beats continue to model the urban hip hop experience.
These talented writers, composers, and producers from the Go Getta Camp, GHMusic, and Deuce 1 Fifth come equipped with enough confidence to revive present day hip hop with Phillys once signature flow.

My brother David Bogan... he introduced me to the world off jazz, fusion, hip hop, and r&b... Nas, Big Pun, The Roots, Common, Black Star(mos def and talieb kweli), The Lost Boyz, Leaders of the new School, A Tribe Called Quest, and many others...
What equipment do you use?
My pen, pad and my mic... i also make some of my own beats with my partner Chris Sabien... She's the next best thing out there up and coming... So watch out for her real soon...
