A Bullet Away
Hey, this is Kai from ABA. Im putting up this site so we can have a place where people can hear some of the ABA stuff. We started a few months ago, probably like january i think. I dont remember but we hope you enjoy this music. We started off wanting a more indie/synth-pop sound but it came out this way. hope you approve.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Well lets see. One day a guy names kai kai the ethnic guy was sitting in his room saying "Man, I wish I could write my own synth pop album." and so he tried and tried to use this really easy program called Tuareg to make electronic indie music. Well, it didnt work. so he then said "Dammit. I need bandmates." So off he went in search of people with the same musical interests. Well along came along two very highly intelligent carbon lifeforms known as Lee and Kyle. They too wanted to make Indie/Synth-Pop Happy Time music. So they started talking about what they would like to do in a band and as they were thinking. Another Carbon-based life form had been standing in line at a local Guitar Center. Purchasing a set of new Drums. A set of Roland V-drums. Synthesized Drums.....Hmmmmmm sounded like a plan. Recently Kai had just received a Roland GR-33 for a gift and "initiative to graduate" so he finally had what he always dreamed of. A chance to make the weird crazy ambient noises in ORGY songs. So anyway, this guy Mr. Kai (Arch Nemesis Captain Teriyaki) decided that V-Drum would be perfect for his little diddy so he welcomed about Herbert Weaver. So now they had a complete band. Or so they thought, soon there after herb's arrival, this man that we know as a carbon-based-lifeform-with-the-name-of-Herb, came the innocently ingenious idea of bringing along his well and able g/f to play the synthesizer(keyboard) and soon after many tedious sessions the band was complete and now they record retarded (slow) songs of romance and despair. If you like yanni. Dont listen to this record :D
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We might play live, who knows. Maybe in the woods or in the moor. I dont know if we like it because we have or have not played live yet. And no there have been no special moments...unless you count...that one time.... . . -_- nope. Nothing Special about that one.
Your musical influences
Coheed and Cambria, Poison the Well, Mae, Reggie and the Full Effect, The Postal Service, The Faint, 80's New Wave, NIN, and a bunch of other bands that are probably so indie, even they think they suck. Ah well. *GRIN* ok next question.

Squire, Fender, Epiphone, Yamaha Guitars.

Shure Mics.
Oh yea. and OUR BRAIN! Does that come with manufacturer's life time warantee? I dont know but I know ive lost most of it.
