Abject Fear is a 5 piece metal band out of Waverly OH. A very young band by most people's standards, AF has climbed from lead vocalist Chris Catanzaro's basement into some of Ohio's top music venues. After recording a couple of EP's, opening for such national acts as 40 Below Summer, Unloco, and E-Town Concrete, and playing all over Central and Southern OH to enthusiastic crowds, AF has developed a strong fan base. With their crunching guitars provided by Joey Rider/Chris Burns, high pitched screams and singing melodies compliments of Chris Catanzaro, ferocious drums from Cody Vinings and funk bass from none other than Eli McNaughton, they bring a unique and diverse sound and also an interesting stage presence to the table with them each time they play.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes. We play all over Ohio, opening and headlining for/with other local acts, and opening for such national acts as: 40 BELOW SUMMER, UNLOCO, E-TOWN CONCRETE...

A very wide range, our bass player plays funky, Primus style bass lines, musicly we can be somewhat related to 40 Below Summer, Nothingface, Slaves on Dope, but we have our own unique style.Anything else?
