A Beautiful Disaster

Hanging By A Thread Hanging By A Thread
One of those songs that builds up from almost nothing and fades. I just took a simple piano riff and kept throwing stuff on top

Shakedown Shakedown

Twilight Twilight
The first song I wrote for this album (Night) over the summer, and consequently, the first song on the album. It originally started as a simple 4 chord trick, but I kept adding more and more layers.

Static Static
The second song on Night, built around a distorted drum loop and bass line.

The Silencer The Silencer
The third song on the album. This song puts a 7/8 bassline over a 4/4 drum beat and piano stabs, to create a shifting and unsettling groove.

Blue Skies Blue Skies
I generally don't listen to techno or house music and I never intended to write that type of song. But it happened anyway. Listen to this loud and crank the bass.

Seizure Seizure
I don't know what to consider this song. It's got industrial drums, lots of electronica elements, but moves like a techno song. Everything about this song screams rave, flashing lights, and sweat. Just crank it (volume) up and let it (the song) go.

The Break In The Break In
Greatly inspired by the Oceans 11 and 12 soundtracks. Driving drums, 70s feel, but somehow modern.

Stained Stained
Greatly inspired by Nine Inch Nails slower songs, notably Piggy. The song begins with a repeated piano motif, which is broken up by crashing drums, taking a look beneath an otherwise calm surface.

An Interlude (Sponsored By Deep Space) An Interlude (Sponsored By Deep Space)
Hmm... my own version of 2001:A Space Odessey. Enough said.

Now Closed Now Closed
One of 2 songs to use this introduction, written after its companion piece, but placed before it in song order.

Shadowfall Shadowfall
The same intro as its predecessor but taken in a different direction.

Starshine Starshine
Named after the instrumental patch that's played in the last 30 seconds, this song is built on two drum loops and a bit of distortion.
