A'Beat
A'Beat is a beatboxer/MC artist that is trying to get into the big times with is beatboxing skills. He is formily known as Human Sound System. There will be a cd out when he can get some recording time and hopefully it will go platinum. There will be collabs with his on-line beatboxing friends Ill Pill and Kwiz. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Well I started beatboxing somewhere around Christmas Break of 2002. I haven't had that much publication to my name but in March of 2004 I entered into a compotition called Mr. Bucksport, it is to find the most talented boy in bucksport, and I beatboxed for my talent. I didnt win but....
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have only preformed infront of a few of my classes and kids in my school. I havn't got a gigs. My basketball team makes me beatbox to get them hyped before a game.
Your musical influences
I dont generally listen to music. I just make a beat. But when I listen to music it is usually Hip Hop and Rap.
What equipment do you use?
I just use a microphone, my mouth, and a computer to record my beats. It's a lot better than carring around a drum set all day.
