A band called ME
A band called ME is singer/songwriter (Joseph Scalero) and his five piece band that's dedicated to a diverse sound ranging from experimental to folk to pop & rock. We even include the kitchen sink (sometimes literally).
Band/artist history

Have you performed in front of an audience?
We play live mostly in Northern California. Usually in our home town of Modesto. Though we also play gigs in San Francisco & Sacramento, both 90 miles away. We're currently forming a band with two members from Sacramento so we're going to be playing there more.
Your musical influences
Two artistic influences: Number one; genius songwriters like: John Lennon, John Hiatt, Michael Stipe, Dylan, Petty, Adam Duritz.
Secondly, artist that are outrageous performers like Janis Joplin, Stevie Wonder, Ani Di Franco, Beck, Patti Smith, David Bowie, Tori Amos.
Whether it's an old clip or in person these people leave you blown away; saying was that real? You're left green with envy. The above mentioned are not mutually exclusive.
What equipment do you use?
The usual instruments plus an Audio Tecnica 4050 mic. Sound Craft mixing console with an ADAT plus a few computer tracks added.
Mastered in Sound Forge (always) .
