We have the feeling We have the feeling
Heavy repetition, heavier feedback, drum n' bass-like rhythms, a bit of fog = nirvana

I Remember Why I Remember Why
Tremolo guitar on the verge of feedback, pounding drums, all of the pathos and angst of lost love in just 3 minutes 44 seconds

This is a thistle This is a thistle
Cha cha rhythms over a single guitar with distorted organ accompaniment

The Dinner Party The Dinner Party
What happens at yet another boring French dinner party...
Zoorama is a France-based Anglo-american minimalist rock/poetry duo featuring Michael Stannard (drums) and Mickey Zero (guitar, vocals).
Band/artist history
Michael Stannard comes from Newcastle, England and has played in a number of bands including The Percys and Betsy Kohler.
Mickey Zero comes from Chicago, played in Dumb Ra, and also occasionally performs as a solo electronic poet.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Zoorama lives to play live--we'll play anywhere. Our favorite gig was our last one--opening act to a country music line-dancing festival.
Your musical influences
Start with Suicide, the Velvet Underground, Patti Smith, Television, add in the Talking Heads, REM, stir in a bit of James Brown and Parliament Funkadelic, don't forget a pinch of The Stooges, plenty of Modern Lovers, not to mention Leonard Cohen and Serge Gainsbourg...getting close? Nope!
What equipment do you use?
Standard drum kit.
Guitars: Hofner Verythin, F3nder Stratobastard, Fender Stratocaster.
Amp: Vox AC15
Plenty of pedals.
Anything else?
Love to have your comments.
