Humanity-entitled poet, the art I create reflects products of my passion and faith by providing snapshots of my life experiences. God is my director. The world is my audience.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
As a Muslim, my origins and destination coexist because of The One above. My lyrical journey began with a live performance in the hallways of VCU in Richmond, VA. It continued overseas in the UK through spoken word in the alleyways of Newcastle. My poetry surfed along the shorelines of the Caribbean in the island of Grenada. Newfound rhymes discover nostalgic peace with open mic sessions in the streets of D.C. My words will continue to paint imagery for however long the world continues to be a canvas.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
The first few seconds of any piece I perform or create is always the best moment because faith brings it to its destined completion.
