As a Muslim, my origins and destination coexist because of The One above. My lyrical journey began with a live performance in the hallways of VCU in Richmond, VA. It continued overseas in the UK through spoken word in the alleyways of Newcastle. My poetry surfed along the shorelines of the Caribbean in the island of Grenada. Newfound rhymes discover nostalgic peace with open mic sessions in the streets of D.C.
