Band/artist history
The Underground Rap scene of the Top Dogz actually started as early as 1993 from the Group called Skully Klann led by Raskull which later on met and collaborated with Pioneer Rappers like Ghost-13, Diorap, L-Sabor, Blanktape, Owen and DJ Medmessiah together with El Pinador during their college days that ignited a spark in pursuing a dream of having a Solid Rap Group that will represent the youth and partying along in the streets of Zamboanga. In the mid 90?s, one of the famous television noon time show the Zambo Jambo organized an activity for entertainment which is the Zamboanga's first RAP attack that gave way to connect the different Rap groups who were present during that time. Raskull came from Skully Klann formely from Ghost 13 as well as El Pinador but later formed Versikulo Dos, Lance Hidden from Siento Elebien, Ram G.I.E. from ZCFlips Soldiers, Don Ramon from Deft Avenue and made their solid alliance after the fall of Hip Hop in Zamboanga during the late 90?s and early 2000, as their struggle continues, they met along the way a young Disc Jockey named Renmark and agreed to join the Group as a cornerstone of the Hip Hop Culture.
