Oakland, CA native Julian Skinner BKA Jewelz Marciano was raised in the studio. His mother being the secretory for Two Tuff Enuff Productions (responsible for such acts as EnVogue Club Nouveau & Tony! Toni! Tone!) made it clear that music was something she wanted to share with young Julian, who's first words where the chorus of Johnny Gill's "My My My" He has now grown to be a problem in the Bay Area, Taking his group the "Yung Rydahz" consisting of 5 members (Marciano, TerryBo, E-Luv, P Dolla & BGz) to new heights in 09 and is ready for the takeover 2010. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
6 years in the making, dropped some artist, then drafted an army. The Rydah Gang & 5 Star Music are the rise. Look out for us, Jewelz R. Marciano, TerryBo Jangles, BG'z Bravaci, P. Dollar, E. Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
The first time i ever performed live, i was in 10th grade and me a couple rappers at the school asked me to come and do some freestyle tracks at an assembly. At first i was hesitant but it ended up being the beginning of my following.
Your musical influences
Lil Wayne & Jay-Z are my biggest influences. But i listen to a lot of artist, Bun B, Drake, Kanye, Clipse, Boosie, Gucci Mane, T.I., E-40, The Jacka, Jadakiss & Mos Def. From Method Man to Snoop Dogg & Rick Ross to Twista.
