With his release of ", for the up coming release of J. Solid's second EP, ""; as well as producing the uncoming , , mixtape, "". Along with being a support line to mentor and fellow Producer/Artist, and his imprint; Yung Bud is establishing roots throughout the Memphis underground music sceen, with hopes of lingering over into the majors with his dynamic, ground breaking sound.
Yung Bud is founder of , which was established in late 2003, with long time friend Jonathan Matthews; and Co-Founder of Ear Drum Entertainment with labelmates, (W. Rubin) and (L. Tucker); which was founded in late 2008. With the 2005 release of the Street Smash Hit , which was produced and recorded by Yung Bud; the attention of Swagger Wireless (an independent RingTone Company, through Roc-a-Fella Records) CEO, John Gotto (long time friend to Sean "Jay Z" Carter"). Through netwoking, a Ring Tone agreement was arranged for the single, with hopes of it being picked up by ; but the deal then went sour due to inner conflict of the XVI/HMP labels. Shortly after Yung Bud branched away, and begun working on his first album, ; which is slated to drop in late 2009; following the release of the project. Yung Bud has released a host of material through his Hydro Muzik imprint, to include: - J. Solid(2003), (2004), - Street Fam (2005), - Hosted By: Nasty Nardo of Memphis (2005), - Hosted By: Trackman (2006), - Hosted By: Trackman (2006), (2008). Having also produced tracks for numerous artists ranging from to , Yung Bud is no stranger to the Memphis Streets; and outside areas. In 2005, Yung Bud was one of the main participants in the efforts; and also performed with ex-labelmate and friend , in a free concert. These lyrics show the depth and the extent in which this up and coming phenom possesses.
Yung Bud has the proper ingredients, and mind frame that it takes to achieve greatness with his Hydro Muzik imprint; a , as one would call it. Expect the unexpected from this rising Hip-Hop star, for the years to come; because there truely will not be another like it.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Hydro Muzik Productions was founded by myself (Yung Bud) and Jonathan Matthews, in 2003. Shortly after the initial launch of the label, Thug Black and Lil P. (formerly known as Pistol P., not of Stress Free Fam) joined the ranks of HMP; and the "Hood Stars" EP was release in the streets of Memphis. After breaking apart, due to creative differences; Yung Bud took a year off to really work on becoming a better engineer, as well as producer. In early 2005, Lil P. and Yung Bud settled the differences that previously separated the two; and Lil P. introduced Yung Bud to J of Blazing Hot Records. Through his BHR imprint, the group Street Fam was formed. The intial members where Yung Bud, Lil P., Thug Black; however, Thug Black choose to leave the group shortly after their start on the "Long Time Coming" project. Thug Black was replaced with ex-HMP labelmate, Playa Cyco; and the group eventually left Blazing Hot Records, to release their EP independently. Due to incarseration of Lil P. the group again broke up, and Yung Bud was back in the lab working solo; where he released the "Destined to Rhyme" Mixtape, hosted by Memphis' own, Nasty Nardo. In 2006, Yung Bud ran into long time friend, and now mentor; Track "Trackman" LeSure. Track groomed Yung Bud into what he is today, and with the launch of the all new Ear Drum Entertainment imprint; backed by Hydro Muzik Productions and Proper Visionz Entertainment.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have played the Memphis underground scene for almost 5 years now, and I am very much looking forward to venturing into the Majors; with the upcoming release of "Million Dollar Plans", my most highly anticipated release.
Your musical influences
I have been influnced by everything that deals with music. I don't feel that there is any such thing as "bad music", it's just music that doesn't appeal to particular crowds.

Anything else?
I am willing to collab and work with anyone who is seriously trying to establish themselves in the industry. I produce, mix, master, and do graphics; so I have a lot to offer to anyone who's willing to accept it. I am also open to learning new things, so I love criticisim; because it only makes you better in the end.
