Young Havok
I'd like to start this off with a thank you to everyone that has helped me with this project. I hope to bring a new form of unity to Las Vegas and make up for our lack of true radio support by creating this page where I will introduce as many people as I can to myself and other artists from the southwest city. Enjoy the music and check in for new interviews and videos of local artists. I will also post show dates and album release dates and the locations where you can get said work. Like I said thanks to everyone who has helped me with this one.
Young Havok
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Well I been rapping since about the 3rd grade. Been recording since the 8th. Not alot has happened in my "career" so far, but I blame that on laziness. I've spent most of my time perfecting my craft. I find I get better and better as I write more and more so that's what I intend to do. I have a motto for this year. 2009 is for the grind but 2010 is for the N'z. Make the name now, make the money later. its an investment.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I do play live, usually every tuesday at this local club and I'm proud to say I usually have the best performances. Not always but usually.
Your musical influences
Well my baby mother is probably my greatest influence right now. Not really in a good way, just more on some, "I really want to show you how bad you fucked up," type shit. Does that sound wrong? Oh well, its the truth. As far as other musicians, The Game, Nas, DMX, Obie Trice, pre Carter Lil Wayne.
What equipment do you use?
whatever the studio got set up, I don't really know alot about the equipment thing.
Anything else?
Not really too much to add. Just keep a look out for my new music and keep checking back here for updates to my situation. I'm an open guy, if you ever wanna know something just ask.
