Back when I was on vacation in Nigeria Benin City do state I was featured as a back up dancer for a Nigerian rapper sky B who at the time was a family friend. Then later on I was featured in a local Benin City news paper. So that was back in 2005-2006.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
E.m.i(Esosa. Mohype.Inspo), back in 2013 immersive and two other of my friends formed a group abbreviated E.M.I. So later on we all went our separate music ways but at any time we could reform the group.But we started in Far Rockaway NY and at the time DJ Floss from Beach Bully was producing the music for us. And as a seasoned artist inspo was aka Ayinde was he always showed me how to perfect my follow he would correct me and give me tips on how to flow better. And DJ Floss was the one who told me as I was rapping because I did ask him what do you feel my rapping style is so I could actually understand where I fit in at so he then said your more of a conscious rapper on a scale of 1-10 he rated me highly on the conscious rapping but Im not so much a battle rapper which Im trying to increase my battle rapping skills. I hope my raps will give others hope and let them know that they arent alone on this whole situation of problems.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I had got a gig proformance by DJ Floss who threw a concert in Far Rockaway beach 17
And sky Bs ma babe at the time I was know as SB
Your musical influences
I have so many some old school rappers and some new school rappers. The reason I say old and new because Im not trying to step on nones feet. I also like country music, rock n roll, blues, pop and just about anything that has great lyrics and a good beat
