We are Atlanta's Premiere and Premium Go Go Band. We are influencers and trendsetters, spreading our love of Go Go music outside of the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Since establishing themselves in Atlanta, X.O BAND has performed with or on the same ticket as renowned local artists as well as national artists. Some of these artists include Mos Def, Erykah Badu, Goapele, Common Sense, Raphael Saadiq, Joi, Sleepy Brown, Killer Mike, and PJ Morton. X.O BAND continues to extend their sound around Atlanta & the surrounding cities. By fusing their sound with Soul, R&B, Hip Hop, Funk, Rock and Caribbean music, X.O BAND makes for the ultimate party band.

Your musical influences
We pay homage to the Godfather of Go Go, the legendary Chuck Brown. We also are influenced by all of the Go Go pioneers and culture movers including Rare Essence, Trouble Funk Lil Benny, E.U., Junkyard Band, Backyard Band, Northeast Groovers, and a host of others. We appreciate the Atlanta Music scene who has welcomed us with open arms and has helped to progress our sound in Atlanta.
What equipment do you use?
With a base of nine band members, we have a full sound that incorporates high energy grooves to create a party atmosphere. Our instrumentation includes a heavy percussion section to include drums, congas, timbales, cowbells, tambourines, keyboards, bass guitar, and lead guitar. We also have voaclists, including a lead talker/rapper and singers. We often invite local and celebrity artists and musicians to perform alongside with us. To ensure a complete party experience, we have a premium in house sound and lighting system with AV techs and Sound Engineers.
