I am Wayne Williams, AKA Willmatic Beats. I am a independent music producer from Columbus Georgia. I work solely under my own record label FCR/ Free Coast Records. Free Coast Records houses many upcoming artist such as Young X Term, Formvldehyde, Aloe, Monk Beats, LLG Tone, Crazy 8, Kid, 930 Mazi, Anthem, Deej, Lil Rocky, LGG, Rekless, Ha$sy, Killabzzz, Taeogakill, and Myself. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
It was very difficult starting out. starting out, I did not have the right equipment to record my beats. I would hold my phone to a speaker while I played my beats on a Roland MC 808. I would post them on Soundcloud but the quality was often terrible.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have not performed in front of a live audience.

My influences are J Dilla, 9th Wonder, Lex Luger, and Superstaar Beats.
What equipment do you use?
Alesis V25 midi keyboard, PC, Roland MC808, and a M-Audio interface. My daws of choice are Studio One 5, Serato Studio, Soundtrap
