When I Get You Home When I Get You Home
A song describing the intimacy of God's personal relationship with us.

Joy Ride Joy Ride
How else can you describe living this Christian adventure? It's a Joy Ride!

I'm Not That Way Anymore I'm Not That Way Anymore
A testimony in song. Maybe you can relate? Praise God I'm Not That Way Anymore!

For The Life of Me For The Life of Me
Probably the most 'contemporary' of my songs. Funny, it still comes out pretty country when I sing it. Or so I'm told!
I'm just a small town Texas boy saved by Grace and looking for ways to serve my Lord and Savior. My musical taste is more in the traditional country and bluegrass vein, but the songs I write seem to run the spectrum from bluegrass to, even, somewhat contemporary. As if I don't get to choose how the song comes out, it just does! I write most of my own stuff and play around locally when I get the opportunity. At this stage in my ministry, it just blows my mind when I hear people tell how they've been touched by the music. It's very humbling and reminds me that it's not about me! God truly does use the "foolish things" to confound the wise! Praise God for that!
The recordings here are just very simple recordings with me and a guitar - mistakes and all. I am feeling led to do a CD of original material this year, God willing. I'll keep you updated!
Aside from the music, I also enjoy building and repairing guitars. Each guitar I build gets a special inscribed dedication of service written on the underside of the soundboard. I want all I do to be for God's glory. Look in my photo gallery for pics of some that I've built!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play live at every chance. Still looking for opportunities. It is, without a doubt, the most fulfilling part of my ministry.
Your musical influences
JESUS!
Musically, I am more influenced by the classic country artists. Hank, George, Merle, Johnny Horton, Carl Smith, Faron Young, Webb Pierce....you know the good stuff! My later influences are still the traditional artists such as George Strait, Keith Whitley, Ricky Skaggs, Alan Jackson, and Randy Travis.
I also have a passion for traditional bluegrass music in the vein of the Stanley Brothers, Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs...and I'm a huge Louvin Brothers fan!
