Waters of March
My name is Shawn Michael Haney. I am a songwriter from Marietta, GA outside of Atlanta. I have been writing songs since
1994. Currently I write and compose and record with an acoustic, one vocal and one guitar track,
on a 2003 zoom mrs 1266 24 track studio, using a rode Nt2A mic.
I hope to record, write and sell songs to young bands and artists eager to get a break,
who need music for an album project, or those looking for cool lyrics and melodies, to those
who would like to use an idea or melody or complete song for a commercial, radio or tv, or movie
film.
I am currently #2 on the alternative local Atlanta, GA charts for reverbnation. I have an account of songs on

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I have been writing songs since 1994. In 2014, I wrote 14 new songs, of which many I hope to post here. I am working on a new batch of seven originals this feb. 2015.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I usually play at coffee shops and pizza places in Marietta, GA. mainly Cool Beans cafe, Abundant Grounds, Mellow Mushroom Kennesaw, Smith's Old Bar.
