Hey guys.
I'm Water Lily, and this is my solo project. I'm not into a band or anything, those are just original songs or covers I recorded myself.
I've been writing songs for several years, even when I was a little kid. I started to play the guitar about one year and a half ago, and I'm finally able to add music to my words.
I saw a lot of people were posting their music, so, I told myself, "why don't you give it a try ?"
And here we go.
Otherwise, I'm 15, I live in France and I love music.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No, not really. I played 'High' at the school's party with two friends, that's all x) But yeah, I like playing live.
Your musical influences
Nirvana, Sara Bareilles, Panic At The Disco, Michelle Branch, I listen to a lot of things, rock, pop, grunge, jazz, blues... It's hard to say what really are my influence. I guess it's a bit of everything.
What equipment do you use?
My guitars, I have A Gibson SG, a Squier Stratocaster, and also an acoustic one. But I mostly use the Gibson to record. I have a MacBook with GarageBand, and an M-Audio keyboard and this small box you use to put your microphone and your guitar in. Sennheiser microphone.
But well, my guitar and my voice are what I use most.
Anything else?
I try to do all the instruments, but I'm nothing but a novice guitar player. So the playing may not be this good. I don't care, it's for fun.
Music is the thing that matters most for me.
