Walker.T

Born Marvin Walker (October 1, 1978), better known by his stage name Walker.T, is a Jamaican Reggae Artist (Singer/Songwriter) who has been echoing his voice for the poor for many years. He has traveled a path of musical endeavors and has released an archive of musical works throughout the years that ranges from singles to full length albums. His gift of melody was realized at an early age as he would often separate himself from his counterparts to go into the hillside of August Town Jamaica to reason with nature and practice his craft of song writing. He would frequent local recording studios consistently approaching recording producers and challenging any act brave enough for a serious face off. With an intent approach to stamp his true authority in the music fraternity, Walker.T worked assiduously, stirring a tremendous amount of interest and attention. He began focusing his attention mainly on lyrics relating to the everyday struggles of the many underdeveloped communities and cultures. Walker.T as an Artist is focused on bringing awareness to issues that are of social, economical, moral, and ethical proportions and concerns. His primary focus that he aims to portray in his music is for all humans to be treated and given the utmost respect, fairness, and opportunities on the same level so that each person can has the ability to choose their path. He conveys his message through the use of melody and the emotional connection that he puts in his music. Walker.T is convinced and really believes in his message of peace, love and fairness that he fashions his lifestyle around these ideas and treats each person that he meets in the same respectful manner.

Walker.T is a very versatile Artist whose identity in the Reggae/Dancehall music fraternity would be classified as a Singjay. His vocal range carries a base tone with a tenor’s melodic pitch. His craft is polished to be able to transition between vocal patterns in an adaptive nature which is uniquely rare in Reggae music. He is the self proclaimed “Reggae Supperstar” as he is often referred to during his on stage performances. Poised with a tremendous amount of passion and respect for Reggae music, Walker.T continues to hone his skills and musical abilities while preparing for the next stage of his career. He created the Walkerton Music Group record label of which he is currently the CEO. The Walkerton Music Group is affiliated with numerous other Reggae subsets such as San Music Productions, Tempo Productions, and Crenshaw Entertainment respectively
