I am currently in two bands, Sins Of Our Fathers (progressive deathstep) and Shadows Above Us (progressive metalcore), but I always have amazing ideas that don't fit into the two bands. This solo project allows me to express myself musically, show my talent as a single musician and producer, and give everybody some more good music to listen to. I will never make people pay for this music. I just want people to hear it, love it, and enjoy it. I use A LOT of odd time signatures, polyrhythms, complex rhythms, soaring solos, catchy melodies, trance inducing electronics, and many other experimental characteristics.

Have you performed in front of an audience?
I hope someday for Devoid of Inertia to play some live shows. However, i do play live shows with my other bands, and I love it.
Your musical influences
The bands that influence me are Periphery, Meshuggah, Tesseract, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, Between The Buried And Me, Born of Osiris, and Veil of Maya. The people who influence me are Steven Wilson and Misha Mansoor.
What equipment do you use?
Schecter Blackjacks ATX C-8, Ableton Live 8, and numerous effects pedals (soon to be replaced by Fractal Audio Axe-Fx)
