Voodoo Down

Spawned from the ashes of desolation and anger, mayhem and pain, comes a revolution the sparks the fire of aggression and decadence in the imaginations of all those who have heard. Their name is Voodoo Down; a collaboration of seasoned musicians illuminating the darker side of this crazy existence and separating the men from the boys with hardcore vocals and thrashing riffs. Pushing forward with the momentum of a freight train, Voodoo Down has taken to the streets to claim their title as the most powerful and passionate metal band in history. With perfect timing, drummer/songwriter Pete Colvin lays down a thunderous backbone reinforced and complimented by the solid, heart crushing bass of Andy "The Maniac" Edick. Crashing through the sound spectrum, guitarists Scott Christie and Rob Colvin are unmatchable when it comes to killer leads and smashing rhythms. Topped off by the screams of anger and vengeance from lead singer/songwriter Lou Burno, Voodoo Down (VD) is spreading like a virus from the armpit of the New Jersey shore to a club party or festival near you. "We'll play anywhere there's a crowd, "said one of the band members during a recent interview, "and we'll blow the f**kin' roof off", finished the bands front man. Andy Edick was quoted as saying, "I love this band. This is all I listen to now." No Stranger to headlining shows or opening locally for national headliners like CRISIS, ILL NINO, PRO-PAIN, OVERKILL, KING DIAMOND, BIOHAZARD, SISTER MACHINEGUN, DRAIN, QUIET RIOT and SYSTEM OF A DOWN, Voodoo Down is tearing a hole through the heart of the metal community.
