i've been on the road all my life (in cover bands),,wanted to put my ideas out there and not be pegged into just one style,,I want to do soundtracks, country, blues, jazz, rock, prog,,,what ever i feel like at the time,,,,I've been exposed to so much music over my life time,,I want to give back to others to enjoyBand/artist history
this could take some time,,lol,,played tenor sax in a jazz combo, playing weddings -nursing homes, ball games,,anywhere we could,,,then played bass in rock bands, got on a tour playing air force bases,,then wanted more money,,so I went on the road playing bass In country bands,,,then switched to keyboards and played on the casino circuit,,,finally..got tired of all the drama of working with others and decided to go it my own, where i call the shots,,got a pc and cubase4,,and here I am,,lolHave you performed in front of an audience?just getting started
Your musical influences
to me theres only two types of music,,good and bad, style doesnt matter,,,influenced by Bach, big bands, frank zappa,Yes,isoa tomita,,ELP,dean martin,,man this list could go on and on forever.......What equipment do you use?
conrad hollow body beatle bass, peavy fondation bass, concert mate 1000,,Korg sr wave station, yamaha p-90 88key,,M-audio 88key midi controller running to a behringer mixer, then to a tascam fw-1082 controller mixer,,dell inspiron530 with quadcore,cubase4,,,,5 piece ludwig drumsEasy on the Ears

Hey man, thanks so much for the comments, they are much appreciated!
I took a listen to The Highlands, and i can say we have a similar taste in the mood we want out music to emanate. You have a lush and expressive tone in that song, and that's exactly what Im after as well; i try to achieve it through raw power and volume, whereas you aim for more of a harmony type approach.
I think you're music could definitely benefit from a more fleshed out approach (ie. more instruments) but than I am used to and strive for a specific type of orchestral sound so I full heartedly admit I am biased towards it. Music should be about what you want it to be, not others, so take that suggestion with a grain of salt!
Cheers, and thanks again for the feedback.this will be the first song on the album thats in progress,,at the end of the album ,it will be reprised with more instrumentation and called "sol vania".....a little word play..."In Trance" "Sol Vania",,dry humor,,lolAll comments (3)

It should read,..Nat Eastham - drum program, since he didnt use sticks on this one !,and here's what others had to say; Very good vocals here! Love the piano, too! The hammond, too! Great swing tune Virgil, great vocals and I love the organ break its hot !! Very Jazyy, very brassy Nice tight harmony laden vocals. Some fun piano and a really really nice hammond type organ soloing that only makes you want more of the same as it goes as quick as it came. A pretty quick ride, that again, leaves one wanting MORE organ! Nice one Virgil... I love these I aint working for the Man No More Type Songs Got me feet tapping now! Love the whole feel of this.Nice one! Great finish!
