Vicky Vanna
Bright and upbeat songs full of diversity from British/Australian singer Victoria Marie. The music is full of passion and all songs are original.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Victoria Marie is a singer/songwriter from Australia and now based in Manhattan, New York. All lyrics and vocals are original collaborations. Her style is varied and her current selection of music contains influences from the dance, pop and R&B genres. Victoria was born in England and grew up in Australia. She has always been interested in music and performed for the first time when she was 5 singing on a TV show by UK channel Granada called: "But can you do it on TV?". She attained numerous awards for excellence in performance throughout her teenage years. At 17, Victoria travelled alone across the world to Europe to audition for shows. In Spain, Victoria performed as resort entertainer in musicals and shows for two years on the sunny island of Ibiza. Victoria also DJed dance music at the resort nightclub. Upon returning to Australia, she began her own DJ company, DJ Europa Entertainment and ran it sucessfully for two years working with other DJ's at venues all over Perth, Western Australia. Since then she has performed as Madonna in a live, international tribute show, worked in TV and film and has never stopped performing from acting to singing to modelling. Currently, Victoria resides in New York City where she has been working with Grammy nominated producer Romulus, on dance/pop/ and R&B tracks. "Set me Free" and 'Dominoes" are the first of many, based on her own personal life experiences. Victoria performed her newest hit "Vice" recently at Club Runway NYC.
