Band/artist history
My bio speaks for itself but my first love was Djin and i started Djin in the late 90's then later producing locally eventually excelling and producung professionally in late 1999 early 2000. my first official placement was Chingy ft. R.Kelly then going on to produce "Large Amounts" for Ludacris. Grammy nominated song "Georgia" followed with "Warning" off Ludacris' Grammy Hip Hop album of the year "Release Therapy". Since then i've focused on my own upcoming independent artists, new producer Status, and Dj protege Dj Swoope (Power 92-Chicago). I've also focused more on publishing and branding myself as a company and Dj. I'm president and CEO of my own company Vudu Spellz Ent. Inc. which also has Vudu Graphix as a sister company. I work strongly with Deftal Music Group based out of Las Vegas in which i am an elite Dj and marketing director. I'm also part of the Power 88 (Las Vegas) radio family and I spin on the radio when time permits.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I Dj live on Power 92 (Las Vegas), internationally, and at several clubs in Las Vegas and Phoenix including Eye Candy (Mandalay Bay) and AirBAr (Stratosphere)
Your musical influences
I love all genre's of music but hip hop baby sat and raised me since the early 80's when i was a toddler. My love as a Dj producer made me appreciate producers like Dj Premier, Dr. Dre, Teddy Riley, Legendary Traxter, Suave House, and Jazze Pha. But i also started getting into ground breaking producers who changed the game like Organized Noise, Timbaland, Mannie Fresh, and the Neptunes. But let's be clear my roots range from groups like the Isley Bros., Funkadelic, and ofcourse James Brown. My love for music is broad and i also appreciate Rock, alternative, and Jazz which i believe is the father of Hip Hop.
What equipment do you use?
DJ: SERATO, TECHNIC 1200'S , RANE MIXER, AND PIONEER CDJ'S AND DJM MIXERS. PRODUCER: PRO TOOLS, TRITON, FANTOM, AND ALL EMU SOUND MODULES
