I started writing songs in general back in my early high school days. I eventually started hanging out way too much and I forgot all about song writing. After giving my life over to Christ, things changed to a new way. I picked up a notepad and a pen, Ive been writing ever since to everything that I feel I need to write to.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Live?...sure, anything to save souls for tha Lord. Like it?...sure, I get nervous but Ive always wanted to do this for tha Lord. Special moments?...yeah, the first time I performed. I was really really really nervous lol.
Your musical influences
Whoa, where do I start? Ive been a big fan of chicano rap. From Lil Rob to Mr.Shadow to Mr.Trippalot to Sleepy Malo to Payaso. But eventually I got into christian music. Guys like Brother IG, MC BLVD, Second Chance, Tha LordSide Gangsta, Sevin, Kre8tor, ChristSide Records and of course tha infamous TBONE. I could names all day...
What equipment do you use?
Microsoft Wordpad when writing my lyrics. My DAW is Adobe Audition. My microphone of choice is a Neumann TLM103 with a MAUDIO Tampa preamp/compressor. Everything else I use is plugins.
