Twamp Statis and lemonHEAD
Colorado is known more for its majestic mountain peaks and skiing than for its music. That was until now. Get It How You Live is a group that was created out of frustration and a love for music. The two members of this phenomenal group are Mr. Twamp Statis and LemonHead. These two individuals were not even friends when they began creating music together. They were brought together by a mutual acquaintance. Along with this person, Twamp, LemonHead, and others set forth to create the first supergroup to come out of Colorado. Then, as with all things, plans began to change. A group which initially began with I members slowly dwindled down to two. After about five years of dedication and hard work a friendship (Mr. Twamp Statis is LemonHead’s second son’s godfather) and a partnership has been created that could never be broken. They say necessity is the mother of invention. Truer word could have never been spoken, especially in the case of these two young men. There were now producers available to them that could make the type of music they wanted to make. So Twamp Stais took it upon himself to become the extraordinary producer that he is today. Studios were charging to much for less than quality service. So they built their own. DJs were not opening their ears and hearing the future plus they wanted payola. To alleviate that problem, turntables were purchased and LemonHead became a threat to all DJs. Manufacturers were trying to charge them ridiculous prices. Get It How You Live became the manufacturers. They have already released already released two albums, Der Dey Go and Erythang or Nothin, under the name Dirty Game Boyz. Both albums have done very respectable numbers. Twamp Statis and LemonHead have also released countless mix tapes. They have al so have the distinction of releasing the only all chopped and screwed mix tape, Slow Down, in Colorado. Get It How You Live is currently working on their third self titled album. In the mist of everything that is going on, they have endeavored in new ventures. Twamp Statis has begun his own production company, Cold Front Productions, which is available to serious inquiries that are willing to pay for quality. LemonHead has been holding down the mix tape front with the Come Shop Wit Us mixtape series and an internet radio show on live365.com of the same name. All of this while making the best music to come out of Colorado. Keep your eyes on them. If you don’t, you will miss something.
