Well hello. we are Tugana and are a Alternativ Rock Band from Germany. We love to do music and hope to impress the world and earn money with our hobby.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Tugana Die Entstehung Tugana ist eine Alternativ Rock Band. Seit 2006 spielen sie unter diesem Namen und in dieser Besatzung. Die Band besteht aus Alan Kitching (Gitarre und Gesang), Sven GÃlzow (Gitarre und Bass), Philipp Albrink (Keyboard), Henrik Heuer (Schlagzeug) und Jan Jeske (Gitarre und Bass). Die Jungs kommen aus der Region Hannover. Entstanden ist die Band durch regelmÃßiges zusammen setzen von Alan, Sven und Jan.Es wurde zusammen geÃbt und Songs gecovert, irgendwann haben Sie die ersten Eigenen Songs Geschrieben. Philipp ind Henna kamen durch Alan zusammen, da sie mit ihn zusammen in der Schulband P-Town gespielt hatten. Der Name „Tugana“ kam an einem Nachmittag zustande als Alan mit Phil und Henna unterwegs war. Alan sah einen Reno Laguna und las Reno Lugana daraus wurde dann Tugana gemacht. Daraufhin meinten die Jungs in einem Interview im Tropical Island: „wer nicht lesen kann ist klar im Vorteil“. In der Band werden die Songs hauptsÃchlich gemeinsam geschrieben. Die Texte von Alan und die Musik von jedem. Einer kommt mit einer Idee und alle leisten ihrem Beitrag. FÃr die Zukunft haben die Jungs vor RegelmÃßige Auftritte zu haben und vielen Menschen zu beeindrucken!!!
Well it all started with Alan, Jan and Sven. They Started playing guitar and soon they wanted a Band. Alan Used to play in the School Band and with Phil and Henna. So He Brought them to the Band. Since 2006 we're playing under the name Tugana
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We love to play live! We try to do everything we get! One of the best was a gig in Tropical Island, the light was excellent and it brought us a lot of money.
Your musical influences
Oh a lot of Bands!! really a lot. Well Puddle of Mudd is one of them. I don't know why but i think its maybe because it was the first real rock Cd i ever heard. Then we go to the Weakerthans, Bad Religion, Metallica not to forget "Jimi Hendrix" his music is not from this world its amazing!!!!!!!! he was a god!!! or is a god!!! (i thinks he still live though. together with Kurt Curbain)
What equipment do you use?
Well first guitars: Epiphone Les Paul and SG, Gibson Les Paul Studio, Fender Telecaster, Squier Strat, Johnsonn Bass.
Drums: i dont have a clue its very old and well yeah no one knows..
Amps: Vox AD100, Marshall ??, SG bei Red Star
