Singing and Songwriting for the Lord, Lance and Susie Krauter are a husband and wife team. We usually have a bit of a mix of a Christian folk/contemporary/country sound.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Well, to call us a band is really more than we are. You see, really, we're a down to earth couple, we love to songwrite, and sharing music is special too... Honestly, we're just the 'little guys.' Nothing big. Just us. And we're happy with just being 'just us.' That's a nice place to be.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Really, we're mainly songwriters, but yes we've been blessed to share the music God has given us; whether it was at a wedding, a funeral (such as Goodbye My Friend at the funeral of our dear brother in Christ, Larry Herbert - he's in Heaven now) or at church or with KGNW.
Your musical influences
Rich Mullins; wow. I love Caedmon's call too. Someday you'll hear of "Joel Herbert" you can find him on Myspace. He's basically amazing, and he loves God.
What equipment do you use?
Prayer is the best equipment really. Praying just to God only though.
