Triple M (UK)
Triple M is Mike Moran and Marc Vormawah who have been writing together since the early nineties. They have been involved in the release of a number of albums and singles in various bands as well as supplying songs and music for theatre and feature film.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Marc was lead singer with Personal Column who released a number of singles on Stiff Records as well as recording at least two John Peel sessions. Marc went on to record a solo album entitled Too True for Elektra records in the US. Marc also sang backing vocals with Thomas Lang who released a number of albums and toured with Suzanne Vega.
Mike played guitar for 16 Tambourines who released an album and two singles on Arista Records and toured with Squeeze, Hue & Cry and Wet Wet Wet.
Music from Triple M has been heard on films such as Renegades (Kiefer Sutherland), Going Off Big Time and Under the Mud.
Mike and Marc are currently developing a piece of Musical Theatre entitled Year Zero - a sneak preview can be found on the videos section of this page.
We are also working with fantastic young singer songwriter Charli Taft.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not at the moment, we write, record, produce more than anything.
