Band/artist history
Steady Grind Recordz was formerly known as GameTight Records, but it was later discovered that the name was already registered. GameTight Records was started in 2003 but the name was changed to Steady Grind Recordz in 2007. We started the label in 2003 with two rap artists, a rapper/producer, a guitarist/vocalist, a male vocalist, and myself the lead producer, founder and CEO of the label. As time went by, all but myself(Trackaholic) and the rapper/producer known as Lil' T "Tha Prince" left the label and in 2007 the label took on a new name with new artists and a new swagg. At that time, the new label with a new name, Steady Grind Recordz took on a more business-like approach to the rap game.
