Band/artist history
Back in 2000, when my father was stationed on Roosey Roads Naval Base, I met some people. It started out as just goofing around, but then we started showing more interest in it. We used to walk around with this little tape recorder and record our freestyles. It started out as fuckin' around with it, and then we decided we wanted to to jump in the music game. So, Verbal Taktiks was formed. We started out small and then we became a crew of 18. I'm just one of the many talents that Verbal Taktiks has to offer. We are a versatile crew with many styles.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No. I don't plan on getting big or anything. I just do this for fun. I'm all about keeping hip-hop real

Tu Pac, Biggie, Big L, Talib Kweli, Jay-Z, Mos Def, Eminem, Southern Intelligence, Black Star, Reflection Eternal, Nas, Jurassic 5, The Pharcyde, Wu Tang, Common, Slick Rick, Dana Dane, DJ Kool Herc (If you don't know who he is, KILL YOURSELF), DJ Honda, Pharoahe Monch etc
What equipment do you use?
M-Audio Musician Microphone and Cool Edit Pro. (Ain't got studio time yet. Make do with what you've got.)

Hip-Hop is more than music; it's who you are and what you believe. It's about knowledge and skill. A lot people think that it's easy to grab a mic and start rapping. It isn't. Your words, what you say in your songs is a depiction of who you are, and I think that a lot of "Rap Artists" today seem to have forgotten that.
