I suffer from a chronic lung disease for which unfortunately there is no cure. As a musician it has meant that after being involved in music for about 68 years ,in one form or other, I have had to stop performing live. Fellow performers will know what a hard decision that has been. Not to be thwarted however I have spent the last few months writing and performing on an album which I would like to sell to you for donations to The British Lung Foundation. There are 11 instrumental tracks (for the obvious reason that singing is difficult with knackered lungs lol), all original, and isnt written solely in any particular genre so theres a bit of rock, bit of blues and some pretty music too, something for every one. I am hoping to raise money for research into some of the awful lung diseases that are around and with your help, maybe, we can help future sufferers. There isnt much publicity around lung disease or its research. Most people think of lung disease as cancer but of course that is far from the only lung problem. Diseases like Bronchiectasis, Atelectasis, Emphysema and more all come under the umbrella of C.O.P.D. There have been a few developments over the years to make life more manageable but as of yet there is no cure. With this in mind I set out to make this CD. All profits from the album are being donated to British Lung Foundation. I would appreciate your help in making this project a success by buying a copy of the album. The suggested donation for the album is 5 pounds but of course it is your decision how much you can afford. For details or to purchase the album please contact me at tonykramer@gmail.com Thank you for your help if you are able.
