Tom Tayback and the Daddy O's

Tom Tayback and the Daddy Os will Rock n Roll your world, playing those great Golden Oldies from the 50s & 60s. Get nostalgic and leave your cares at home, cuz the memories of those good old days will fly unchecked as you relive a time when music refused to let you sit still. This is a great show with lots of fun and trivia from the stage. Prepare yourself for a return to the days of jukeboxes and 45 records, ducktails and ponytails, saddle shoes and blue suede shoes. Let your mind wander back to those special Rock n Roll Gold days. Youll love this show. Tom surrounds himself with some of the best musicians in the southwest in order to do justice to those great Golden Oldies. Anything else would be Rock n Roll sacrilege. TOM TAYBACK (the Whammy King). As an actor and multi-award winning anchor of 780 KAZMs morning show The DUO in Sedona, Tom brings seasoned presence to his live performances. From 85 to 91 he produced a syndicated TV variety show on KTUP Channel 45 in Phoenix and hosted radio shows in Phoenix and Las Vegas. 93 and 94 found Tom costarring in the premiere episode of the new Route 66 for NBC and the sci-fi movie Hidden II, The Spawning for NewLine Cinema. In 95 and 96 he starred in Undercover Heat with Meg Foster for Axis Films International and in his favorite role as the new Grizzly Adams in Treasure Of The Bear. As a Screen Actors Guild member, Toms acting history can be viewed on the Internet Movie Database at www.imdb.com/name/nm0851860/ . LYLE PRATT (the Wild Man - Lord of the Strings) is on lead guitar. Hes well known for a style reminiscent of the Tele-King James Burton. During the rock and roll explosion of the 60s Lyle worked the San Francisco bay area clubs with the likes of Buffalo Springfield and Commander Cody & His Lost Planet Airmen. In 1986, Lyle played with the World Olympic Touring Band. Once youve hear Lyle play, youll understand why his style is perfect for this music. RICH KEIGLEY (the Sultan of Snare) started playing drums with bands in Buffalo, NY. After studying with Johnny Roland of the Buffalo Philharmonic, he toured with Top 40 musicians up and down the east coast. Moving to Arizona, Rich continued his studies with percussion Impresario Dan Tomlinson. In his travels hes opened for the likes of Steppenwolf, Blue Oyster Cult, and Marshall Tucker. TOMMY ACOSTA (the Baron of Bass) cut his musical teeth in New York, recording an original rock opera album on Orange Records, titled Rock n Roll Anything Goes. He also played bass and lead guitar for the infamous New York City squirrels. Going back to the 50s, Tommy began learning vocal arrangements with street corner Doo Wap groups in the Bronx. The Tom Tayback Band brings him full-cycle to his roots. This show will remind you of Sock Hops in the gym and Alan Freeds traveling Rock n Roll Review. Tom Tayback and the Daddy Os are a true blast from the past. See them Friday and Saturday night, April 3rd and 4th, 9pm to 1am, at the Apache Gold Casinos Cabaret Lounge in San Carlos, just off of Highway 70, 5 miles east of Globe.
