This is the spoof in '92 that got me kicked off the talk station (notice the ref. to "CHANGE") wow,prescient..when I was satirizing political ads current at that time, ie. Sen. Bob Bennett, where these ads ran alongside his. His folk weren't amused.

Joe Cannon ran for Utah Senator in 1992. This ad spoofed, satirized one of his ads that was running at the time, including the music, though this is my original music in the background.

a bit i did noticing the near absolute conformity of opinion in musicians, actors but especially musicians at that time, so I did a satire of it for a guest appearance as T.Ray:Regional Dir. NWO on B. Lesh show on local talk radio station in 1992.

I did this bit 2nd appearance of mine on M.Davies talk show, in 1991. I recorded these in some dude's studio basement. I got his mom to play the role of the irate "shaved woman" here, hehehe.... I love the "what a raschist" part...she was perfect..

At the time (mid '90s) the "Hooked on Phonics" radio commercials were ubiquitous. On a whim I called a local talk radio station--The R. Moore Show--and riffed a little comedic bit as "Joe" . . . who was tragically . . . hooked on phonics . . . :)
