Tom Goodrick
Nothing fancy, just a nice smooth sound. Features strings, piano and soprano sax.
For this piece, I play a Yamaha keyboard that plays the flute. It's a nice piece - at least a little cool.
This moves along pretty well. Mostly piano and brass with solos by trombone and soprano sax with flute accents.
New sounds include a lead organ, tenor sax and fluglehorn solos on this swing piece with a good beat. Other solos include the trombone and soprano sax.
My contribution to the Christmas Season. (Just having fun with my sop and a few friends!) Happy Holidays!
A smooth one with soprano sax and violins.
Piano jazz with a little soprano sax mixed in. It moves along at a nice pace.
My overture to fall using soprano sax with strings featuring the "Fantasy" sound by Yamaha.
This is another toe tapper. The Yamaha 5C mpc is again used on the soprano. This is also the first upload featuring a new adjustment in the reverb (I call LSTG) that sounds fairly good in the mp3 format.
Slow blues with piano and soprano sax solos. A Yamha 5C mpc is used on the sop. Mama Kitty was a fine young cat.
Relax and stroll slowly along the seashore. Hear the surf, the sea gulls and the ships' bells.
The lead alternates between piano and soprano sax with a catchy rhythm.
This catchy jazz rhythm inspired an improvised soprano solo using the expressive Super Session mouthpiece.
Soprano solo with smooth but complex background with strings, choir, soft brass and catchy guitar rhythms. New sound from new Yamaha 5C mpc with dark lig.
Sop solo using new Yamaha 5C mpc with dark lig. The background rhythm was catchy and inspired the solo.
This is a series of jazz riffs dedicated to my wife of 43 years, Diane, who has to put up with these weird noises emenating from the bedroom on occasion. The sop trades riffs with the vibes (keyboard).
This was actually composed! I wrote a lead sheet for this recording. It features soft brass, strings and chorus with a soprano sax solo on the second refrain. Its "neat".
This will get a toe tapping. Its just a pleasant light piece with a bounce. The style reminds me a little of Ray Conniff. It features brass and choir with a soprano solo.
Uses rhythm and style that has become popular in Europe in recent years. Fun to do.
