Todd Hehl and Phantom Limb began in the inner city ghetto of Lucasville, Oh. After finding out that some guitar strings were made of catgut, Todd quickly started killing cats to string their guts across a hollow log he found. After numerous failed attempts, and a nasty letter from PETA, Todd found an old guitar in a pawn shop for $35.
