Tipsy Gypsy is pure Southern California fire: loud, unfiltered, and built for late nights, big stages, and zero regrets. We deliver raw blues-rock energysnarling vocals, filthy guitar leads, thunderous drums, and bass lines that hit like a gut punch. Fronted by metal veteran Vince Farrentino (known for fronting Hanz Krypt, the Venice Beach doom legends often called the “American Black Sabbath), the band blends gritty attitude with irresistible, road-worn hooks that get crowds moving and drinks flowing.
Guitarist Anthony Kollar brings New Orleans soul and decades of LA scene grithaving shared stages with icons like Peter Tork (who once jumped the rail at Harvelles to fill in on bass) and more recently trading licks with David Forkner at the Whisky. Drummer Bruce Hager, a student of Carmine Appice, brings pro-level power from touring with Gary Richrath. And anchoring the low end is bassist Guy, “The MachineVince’s longtime collaborator since the ’90s dive-bar days, laying down thick, seismic grooves that lock everything together like a heartbeat you feel in your chest.
