Tia Turner
My music isnt just sound; its an experience. Every beat, every lyric, every note carries the weight of my story pain, healing, strength, and triumph. When you buy my music, youre not just purchasing songs; youre investing in art that moves people, connects souls, and leaves a lasting mark.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started to write poetry and submit to different forums online. I once was entered into a book in Disney World. My family was mostly poor although they had opportunities. I still havent gotten to where I would like to be because of them. Ive been through a very hard life honestly and thats where I have learned from. My music has changed from being harsh to a lot more considerate and confident as I have aged into a mature adult.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, I have performed in front of large audiences. I was asked to meet the legendary lil Kim on the Bill Cunningham Show which my family had declined. But the show allowed to premiere for another unrelated to music career. So, I definitely have a stage presence on television. I also was a dancer whom worked many stages in my life in front of hundreds to thousands of individuals.
Your musical influences
Jesus is One, Tina Turner, Beyonce and Jay Z, lil Kim, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, The Obamas
What equipment do you use?
I honestly use an IPhone 13, and I use Patch Werk Studios whenever I record. My ex Din Stone recorded my first album from home.
Anything else?
I just want to say that this music is my life. It has been instilled in me since my birth and I love everything about it. And I hope that others can be inspired by this feeling that I have for my talent and use their own talent the same way that I use mind-honestly.
