Theory of Noise

Hey all, We are Theory of Noise, TON for short. We have been a band for around 2 years now on and off. We are just finishing up our debut album that should be out soon! We play Hard Rock-ish type music with some pop Rock and some Metal influences. Take a listen and see if you like it! Check our webpage out at www.theoryofnoise.com Chris Theory of Noise
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The band was initially started by the lead singer and former guitarist. It had a different name back then and a different style. Definitely more like the South Jersey Hardcore scene, only worse. I joined up when we brought in our first drummer and changed the band name to One Track Mind. We started writing some more tunes and then things fell apart again and it took half a year for everyone to reconvene with a new drummer. We found a rehearsal space and we we're about to have our first show and we had to fire our drummer, again, and find a new one. We also needed a bass player so we picked up our current bass player. We also ditched the second guitarist and the singer picked up the slack in the rhythm section. After we picked up a new drummer we really started picking up some steam. We got a couple shows under our belt and started developing as a band. Then we more or less out grew our drummer and moved on to a new drummer. That brings us up to the present!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play live all over the South Jersey/Philly Scene.
