The Wood Family
Were not a band anymore. We were. But we still like to get together when we can and make music. Our Family band consist of: Roger- Bass Guitar, Tim-Rhythem Guitar, Jimmy- Harmonica, Clarence-Lead Guitar & Singer, James-Steel Guitar, and Me-Song Writter & Singer.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We formed our Family band back in 1957. I was 2 yr. old. We started singing in our local church. Wasn't long until we were singing in other churches in our town. Then we started visting churches in other towns. Soon after a couple years, we were singing at a different church 5 times a week. We started singing on a radio program as well. Soon we added another brother to our band, and changed the name to 'The Wood Brother's Quartet'. Soon after we added yet another brother, but the name stayed the same. We have sang on 2 seperate TV programs a couple times each. I have seen as many as 32 people come to the alter and surrender their hearts to God at one singing. But in 1970, the devil crept in and dissrupted all of it. We have not performed together as a band since.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not since 1970.

What equipment do you use?
I use a pen, my family use guitars (Bass, Acoustic 6 string, Harmonicas, Steel Guitar)

Beware the devil. He is cunning and sneaky. His main goal is to dissrupt any and all things pertaining to God. The devil put building a home, and working a job, ahead of doing the Service that God had intended for us to do for Him. Our lives have never been the same since, and will never be the way they were, ever again.
