Reality and Wisdom symbolizes the R-A-W in Raw Street Entertainment. A talented diverse family which has grown to much more than a bond; it is really a unity. It's truly a lifestyle, it's a brotherhood and a family or more like a team of talented unified artists that strength is in numbers. Their talent brought them together, but there bond keeps them together. As the baby of the immediate "Raw Street" family, Vaughn Hayes inherited all hands on aspects from his three older brothers ( BU aka Surfboard Butta, Ayitem, and Loess Man). Though they come from a long line of musicians, his bros taught him all that he knows, he's like a "Jack of All Trades". Since practicing the "Art of Rap" in elementary school, from grasping the ability to create unique beats throughout middle school to receiving his High School Diploma. He then decided with that strong of a foundation to run with it. Project after project he vowed to never let his fans down nor let his talents go to waste.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
From the outside looking in....Raw Street Entertainment may seem like a aspiring small business anticipating some sort of revenue in the near future....but to those of us who know it best it truly is a lifestyle. Even before a lifestyle-a brotherhood-even before a brotherhood- a family.
A talented diverse family which has grown together to form something much more than a bond-a unity. A unified appreciation, direction, desire, & dedication. These qualities when in-sync with each of our individual personalities creates a glowing aura of inspiration that always seems to draw a crowd no matter what environment.
Reality and Wisdom symbolizes the "R-A-W-ness" of our content & describes what we attempt to convey in our lyrics. Simply put our music is just the poetic form of ourselves.
