The Stringsmiths formed in late 2008 whilst still at high school to play functions. Since then they've developed their sounds and played more serious gigs, including at the Gaelic Hotel, 'Station Street Sessions', Engadine Bowls Club and live on-air at 2SSR FM.
The Stringsmiths took out first place in the 2011 Sutherland Shire Battle of the Bands and are now working on their promising first studio recordings.
The four-piece will be featured on ABC3's 'Stay Tuned Presents' later this year and has other exciting opportunities coming up with both media propsects and live shows.

Have you performed in front of an audience?

We are currently gigging on a semi regular basis, about once a month. We have played at some local venues such as; The Sydney Live House, Gaelic Hotel, Valve Bar, Bondi Pavilion and the Sutherland entertainment center.
