Jazz General

The Sparrows of Paris repertoire includes vintage french chansons from the 1920s to 50s as well as the authentic musette of the 1930s and 40s as played by Django Reinhardt, Gus Viseur, Emile PrudHomme, the Péguri brothers, Emile Vacher, Tony Murena and other great accordionists and jazz-musette musicians of the authentic musette music genre. The Sparrows of Paris continue the tradition of the bal musette, the vintage french jazz-musette social dance of the beginning of the 20th century which is enjoying a revival. The Sparrows of Paris also write their own songs in the same retro style
